Joke of the day

A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night and have dinner with her parents. This being a big event, the girl tells her boyfriend that after dinner, she would like to go out and "do it" for the first time. Well, the boy is ecstatic, but he has never done it before, so he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some protection. The pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour. He tells the boy everything there is to know about protection and doing it. At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many he'd like to buy; a 3-pack, a 10-pack, or a family pack. The boy insists on the family pack because he thinks he will be very busy, it being his first time and all. That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parent's house and meets his girlfriend at the door. "Oh I'm so excited for you to meet my parents, come on in." The boy goes inside and is taken to the dinner table where the girl's parents are seated. The boy quickly offers to say grace and bows his head. A minute passes, and the boy still deep in prayer with his head down. Ten minutes pass and still no movement from the boy. Finally, after 20 minutes with his head down, the girlfriend leans over and whispers to her boyfriend, "I had no idea you were so religious." The boy turns and whispers back, "I had no idea your father was a pharmacist."

We shall return to power - Imam Bhukari

"We were rulers here for 800 years. Inshaallah, we shall return to power here once again", were the words said by Imam of Jama Masjid, New Delhi. How shameful of him to say of our country. He stays in our country and speaks ill about our country. He is not a citizen of India. However, he should not be blamed when our government is keeping its mouth shut and not punishing him for making damaging statements. Our government is just interested in being in power till the day we lose our independence. Mahatma Gandhi helped the country in regaining. The politicians have gone blind in the fight to be in power. If they do not open their eyes now and act together, we are heading the doomsday very fast. Don't we have even a little patriotism left in our hearts? Can't we prove Imam Bhukari, that he is wrong and better keep his mouth shut in future if he wants to stay in our country? If this had happened in any other non-muslim country he would have been jailed for a long time. Can any hindu saint make such damaging statements in Pakistan or in other country? Why are the muslims keeping quite and not punishing him? They should remember that during the India's freedom struggle lots of muslim had laid their percious lives. Do they want to lose the country's freedom?

Think about it and keeping posting your comments

Investing in Stock Market today

The stock market has crashed due to rise in inflation for last 3 to 4 months. Though the market had crashed very badly (for instance, the value of ITC was above Rs.1000/share in April 2006, today it is around Rs.169/share), the mood seems to be improving. The prices had come down drastically. This is the right time to invest in shares. The prices are lingering in their lowest value. I had tracked the market for last couple of months. the market was extremely volatile. But since last week the prices are more or less stable and increasing. But not to worry. If you are investing for long term (2-3 years) you will get very good returns that no investment can give. But if you are looking for short term investment (less than 6 months), you need to keep track on a daily basis. Don't be greedy and expect the price to rise always. Take a prudent decision and sell when you think you have earned enough profit. Chances you may even face a loss.

Ask me questions, I would love to answer them...

Who is morally right Israel or Lebanon?

Today's topic is about the current situation in Middle East... the fight between Israel and Palestine/Lebanon.I feel Israel is very right, simply because Lebanon and Palestine should not have kidnapped Israeli soldiers and triggered this war. If they had lived in peace, there was no reason for Israel to be so offensive. In fact, India should have taken the same stand. If India had done this in the beginning, Pakistan would not be today threatening India of a nuclear attack. The future of India seems to be doomed. Looks like another Mohammed Bin Tughlaq rule is being imposed on this peaceful country.Coming back to the topic of Israel... Israel should teach a lesson to the terrorist encouraging countries. The very thought of encouraging terrorism should make them shrudder with the thought of the diaster that would follow. Lebanon and Palestine are going to take a long time to come back to normal state. They have to pay for it. If they had not been involved in such their normal life would not have been disrupted. Their economy would have been booming. But my question is what do these people want anyway? Why are they doing all these damaging activities?

Joke of the day

Politicians on a Bus Accident

A bus load of politicians were driving down a country road, when the bus ran off the road and crashed into a tree in an old farmer's field. The old farmer, after seeing what happened, went over to investigate.
A few days later, the local sheriff came out looking for the missing politicos, saw the crashed bus, and asked the farmer where all the politicians had gone.
The farmer said, "I buried 'em all... out back."
The sheriff then asked, "Were they ALL dead?"
The old farmer replied, "Well, some of them said they weren't, but you know how them politicians lie."

Joke of the day - The great Indian mind

Indian man walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. He tells the loan officer that he is going to India on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000. The bank officer tells him that the bank will need some form of security for the loan, so the Indian man hands over the keys to a new Ferrari parked on the street in front of the bank. He produces the title and everything checks out. The loan officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the Indian for using a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then drives the Ferrari into the bank's underground garage and parks it there. Two weeks later, the Indian returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41. The loan officer says, "Sir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multi-millionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?"
The Indian replies: "Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?"

Ah, the mind of the Indian..... who can top it !!!

This week's the topic of discussion would be about a vague and ill understood topic of origin of universe. These are the questions I am looking forrward for answers...
1. How big could be the universe?
2. Did the universe always exist?
3. How could nature come up with such a design? And Why?
4. Is there some force that is doing all these things?
5. What are we finally made of?

My dear fellow bloggers, please feel free to add more questions to the above list. Lets get in sync and try to understand the universe by sharing our knowledge and deriving some answers by logical thinking.

Also please feel free to suggest topics that we could start the next week...
